Maybe it should have been made in the 60`s when these comic book war films seemed to be more acceptable, but even so a potentially nice idea is ruined by uninspired direction,uncharasmatic leading actors and a truly horrible soundtrack-certainly one of the worst I`ve ever heard.Sad to see Donald Pleasance and Glenn Ford in this mess and if you`re looking for any redeeeming aspects maybe the German Paratrooper assault on the train is possibly the only worthwhile reason to watch this once and then very quickly bury it somewhere in the garden.

I agree it was a good Idea but with no Production Values. From the Music to the shots of the Train moving through the Desert all low Production Values. It is a shame was a good Story otherwise. I wonder if it was a Rip off of "Where Eagles Dare" kind of the same plot. Winston Churchill held Hostage by the Germans. Funny you should mention watch it once and bury it in the Yard. I have had it on my shelf for the past 4 years brought it at the Dollar store was bored so poped it in tonight. Now I will lose it.
