To realize it sucked. You can't compete with Bogart, Johnson, Ferrer, and MacMurray.

No, this was an excellent adaptation and much truer to the original. Copied it from VHS to DVD.

I thought excellent also. Brad Davis take on manic Queeg was not Bogart but still very convincing.

You're in the minority; this wasn't meant to compete with the 1954 movie (which is enormously flawed). This is a standout television adaption of the original Broadway play; it has little to do with the Dmytryk movie, so it shouldn't be compared.

I like the original better but the acting was great in this.
