This is one of the very few movies I couldn't finish. It just was too slow for me at the beginning I couldn't stay awake and couldn't finish it.
shareI might encourage you to try again because I felt the same as you but I watched it to the end and now it is among my top 10 DVDs. Maybe this is because I can relate to so much in the movie.

the ending is just new york scene and Jamie getting courageous and willing to face life. and realise that life can have great fun ....
