This was a freakin' riot!

I saw this back in 1990 as a rental and I thought it was so cool in a B-Horror flick kind of way. There have been way better types of movies like this but there have been far worse as well. Going back and seeing it again made me crack up out loud! Forget the premise of the movie, the cheesy plot, the sub-standard acting and the hokey special effects - who can deny that the SOUND that the Brain makes isn't enough to send you into a laughing frenzy. I will never forget the "honk" that it makes whenever it would turn itself and look at the victim! It sounded like Chewbacca at times - I'm not kidding. That killed me!

(Spoiler below)

I agree that this is a tremendously entertaining piece of cheese. I found this film in the clearance bin at a video store for a buck, and I certainly got my money's worth. I'm not sure if it was intended as a true horror film, because it's not very scary, but it works as a spoof of the genre. The people playing the lead characters may not have been great actors, but they were certainly likeable.

I love the disclaimer at the end about mixing sodium with water. It's too bad the sodium mixture that killed the brain also killed any hope for a sequel ... or DID it?

I saw this movie in high school with some friends and we couldn't stop laughing. This is one of those so bad it's good kind of movies.

Haha agreed everyone. I love this. It's currently on the Drive In Channel in Canada. My favorite thing about this movie is the fat guy in the white suit with the goatee and gun chasing Jim and his GF around the whole movie.

I wish I owned this. Ever released on DVD I wonder?

I agree. It's so bad but enjoyable. I gotta say Cynthia Preston is very beautiful as always in this. Wonderful actress

I went into this expecting a schlocky little flick... I didn't expect it to be quite so bonkers.
