box office

Why did these films take so little at the box office?

reply

I don't know about America but here in the UK this movie went straight to video where I would imagine it done rather well.

At that time in America, moviegoers were more into renting their favorite actors films than see them in theaters, as the renting was very popular at that time. Also, Golan/Globus had their film run limitly so they could see international, video, and TV rights quickly.

Just watch this film it was a great action film it deserves to be a box office hit, it had wonderful acting by all the cast and a wonderful scripted story.

The story is very well scripted I love how the climax of the movie all comes together from the dying boy's mother ): (who was killed by that evil viet officer) to saving the orphan kids and getting out of Vietnam. Each part has it's emotion. The music played during the film was wonderful and fits in each of the scenes, i love the ending how everyone is happy, I was happy that evil Vietnam solider and his army all died and blown to bits lol, and Chuck Norris being the hero that saved the day and his son next to him with all the orphan kids walking to safety. I like that song playing and how that little girl looked back at the troubled place she was in and turned away to keep on walking for a better place to live that was a great and happy scene.

I never used to like Chuck Norris because i always thought he was corny but after watching the Missing in action films I liked him, he is a great actor and he served with the commandos in real life so he does all his real stunts.

On the end credits it says that their are still thousands of 'Amerasian kids' still in Vietnam, how sad.
