i watched last night on ifc and was extremely disappointed with it.COULD THEY HAVE ANYMORE CHESSEY *beep* SAX IN THE MVIE.very cliche

caught it on IFC, too -- i really liked it as a kid, but now it just plays like an AFTER SCHOOL SPECIAL.

Eh. Outdated style doesn't make a movie bad. There are plenty of great movies with what we would call "cheesy" music or sets or effects or whatever. I thought it was a good story that was well-acted.
