This scene didn't ring true


They went to party the evening of the day the news was in Wall Street Journal about closing of tax shelters. Everyone just stared at him, obviously feeling uncomfortable and sorry for him. I really doubt that that crowd would be WSJ readers or be aware at all of such business activities. They are strictly party people and that's all they know or care about.

The host knew about such matters and it's possible that he was gossiping about it before they came to the party ~
