Hello! I remember watching this movie when I was about 10, and I thought it was amazing. But at the climax-scene at the end, when the main character was hanging from the ceiling, and the secret was about to be revealed, the TV went black - and I cursed every known form of technology! I have wondered about this in merely 16 years :)
So - since this movie is kinda hard to get hold of - could someone just give me the spoiler?

some things happened in the room and then you got to see the "ghost" :B it looked like an orc :P then he killed the ghost with that machine and then a fire started and the whole house started to burn. after that the mother saved them etc. etc.
you should try to get your hands on the movie and see for yourself :P but i guess its pretty hard if you have wondered for 16 years :<

shareThe ending is kind of strange. You see the Demons face in about 1 second,
then Frank takes hes hands on that killing - Ghost - machine. And then puts hes hands on the demon. Then you hear that Demon scream, and a mirror breaks.
Then Sarah came back, and manage to bring Frank out to safety.
Before that, they crashed down to the childrens bed. Then they take a final look, of what should/could have bien their dreamplace. Then they leave for Town. The last thing thats happen, is that you realy going to see Allans spirit. Who smiles, and is glad that they made it. With mission accomplished,
he walks away and disapeares into the Woods. Like he is now resting in peace.
Dawn of the Dead ´78 is the best movie ever.
I don't feel that the ending is strange, I think it's perfect. I nver thought of it as Frank puts his hand on the demon, are you sure? Have to watch out for that next time I see it.
