I saw it once when it was first broadcast on Channel4 in 1989. The pacing was pedestrian at the beginning overall conception was adult orientated, I was only 13 going on 14 at that time, but I really enjoyed the mini-series. But only worry if I rewatched again on dvd would I feel the same?.
