I've seen Freddy and all the rest, but Harris is the best!

I still remember the commercial where they're getting exit interviews by people who supposidly just came out of a screening of Bad Dreams, and some guy goes, "I've seen Freddy and all the rest but Harris is the best."
I always think of that whenever I watch this movie.
One of my friends (A Freddy Fan) finds that tagline offensive and lame.
I say, Harris rules!!!!
Eternal Bliss!

of all the horror films i have seen over the years, only THIS ONE gave me nightmares! The others don't bother me. plus i like the music sound track as well on it.

I have to totally disagree with all of you. Harris might've been crazy, but when you come to the realization that all the dreams are a result of the drugging, Harris's weight as a horror villains is really thinner than air. If anything, Berrisford was more of the villain than Harris was. Harris is only good for the crazy stuff he does in the opening, but after that, that's all folks! He doesn't have enough standing to compete with the big boys.

I have to disagree. If you noticed, Harris warns Cynthia EVERY time someone is going to die. Now how do drug hallucinations give you the ability to see into the future? That suggests Harris' character did come from beyond the grave to torment Cynthia.

It is suggested at the end of the film that it was Berrisford - who somewhat resembles Harris - who was warning Cynthia, who thought it was Harris.

"who somewhat resembles Harris - who was warning Cynthia, who thought it was Harris."

It was Harris...Harris Yulin, that is.

Franklin Harris was awesome. a classic character definitely. Dr. Berrisford was also a great villain, played chillingly by the great Harris Yulin.

how can you survive.....BAD DREAMS

Harris for some reason reminded me of David Icke, lol.
