Hi, would anyone have any info on where I could get this on DVD? I was given a link once, but they no longer transfer it. It is obscure and I understand it wasn't even released on VHS, yet I am desperate for a DVD of it, as my tape is VERY old and distorted (as are most of my VHS tapes).

i've been able to buy 2 copies on VHS... not dvd, but they're in the jacket, factory sealed, so the quality is the same as any tape that you would buy in a store. i think i found both of mine through video sellers on ebay that had their own stores that you could link to. if you need dvd that won't help, but if you've got a VHS player, i'd go with the tapes if you are desperate for a copy, because it's perfectly legal and they're actually factory sealed.
one of my copies is a 3-tape set because it's so long, but the other was just 1 tape even though it has the entire thing on it. i didn't notice a difference in quality, and the jacket looked the same i think.
As someone else stated, this was released on VHS in a 3-box set. I was lucky to find a copy on ebay that was in mint condition with the box. I would keep an eye out there but I've checked in over the years and have never seen another copy go up for sale. It's just hard to find. I absolutely love the movie though and plan to keep mine forever. =)
shareI have this on dvd, I think it's ex video but not certain as it was sent to me by someone else, but the quality is very good. I have dubbing facilities and always happy to consider a swap.
