IOL in every room

Actually a reality these days if you shell out for the more costly
energy efficient bulbs. Cheaper ones actually have a delay (couple we have, do) - and they don't immediately reach full brightness. Also bought a couple of fairly cheap LCD TV's recently, couple of seconds to come on. A costly 50" Plasma we have takes a couple of seconds to change channels! Wtf happened to progress...
