Possible Kids are not realted?

That's what I think. I don't think any of the kids were really siblings, they ended up joining the family. For starters, the "kids" were far too old to have those parents who were really not that elderly. The other part that remained a mystery was why the "kids" thought they were kids when they were actually adults. Fanny thought she was only twelve. This weirdness was never explained but obviously they all suffered a crazy delusion that they were children and a family. I wish they revealed some of the backstory.
