Live-Action Akira movie was scrapped.

in March 2015, Director Jaume Collet-Serra says The Live-action Akira movie was scrapped for the fifth time. that means the film rights that Warner Bros. owned will soon revert back to the man who created Akira, Katsuhiro Otomo.

Great. Most of these movies studios buy properties so other studios can't. They don't plan on making money off them.

Until it was revived the fifth time by the man whose one of the writers for season 2 of Daredevil.

I think Hollywood should leave Akira alone. Trying to dumb down this film for the masses would be a slap in the face to the franchise in my humble opinion.
