My friend and I has never seen this movie, and he says it's a sequel to The Zombie Dead while I says it's not.

Who's right?

You're right. Your friend is wrong.

This film is a sequel to Zombi 2 and Zombi 3. Altough my guess is that the film was made as a standalone film, and then released in italy and abroad with the title "Zombi 4" to draw in more cash.

The film doesn't have anything to do with The Zombie Dead.

By the way, it took me weeks to convince my friend that this one and The Zombie Dead was not the same movie, even though I constantly showed him that here they were two different movies.

Your friend might think that this and The Zombie Dead are connected because both have zombies, voodoo and tropical islands involved. This is a popular theme in Italian zombie flicks.

Actually it's because in our shop, there is movie with the title "Zombie 3" and on the cover there is some pictures from "The Zombie Dead"

Many horror movies do that with cheap posters. The DVD cover for Zombi4 has some of the demons from the cover of the DEMONS poster.

If you mean the Dutch DVD, that is The Zombie Dead!

and
BURIAL GROUND

Definitely one of Andrea Bianchi's best flicks!

btw, you could go as far as saying that none of you was right, seen as this one was meant to be a stand alone. not to mention it says zombiE in the title and not zombI.

i guess you could argue about that cos of the E. but yeah, this is being sold as part of the collection that was started by Dario Argento (Zombi 1/Dawn of the Dead) and Lucio Fulci (Zombi 2)
