vipcos vault of horror

i haven't actually seen this film (yet) although zombie films are my favourite films. (land of the dead - UK september & 15 = wtf?! (but thats another topic)) The vipoc's vault of horror range of horror films are great (at £6 each) but there are sooo many. and, as im still in school, I dont have much money. So any ideas on the best of the selection? (and quick please because there's a sale on at my local virgin - yay:)

i can recomend most of 'em, but not on the Vipco label as their crap and well and truly cut(unless you get them on the European label and not the UK one). if you have a multi region player i'd advise you to search online www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk is a good place to start. if you have to get them region 2 you'll have to search the web for European dealers that do alternate European versions.

Some Vipcos are terribly mutilated that's true but the versions I have of Zombie Flesh Eaters 2 and 3 (or Zombi 3 and 4 if you will) are Vipco and should be uncut. Atleast according to DVD Compare. Zombie Flesh Eaters 2 is missing the original opening sequence though. Technically Vipco releases aren't all that good but they are watchable. Somehow it doesn't bother me all that much if the trash movies aren't technically of a very high quality but since my hearing ain't that good I wouldn't mind having english subtitles. Anyway there's some good trash in Vipco Vaults of Horror like Zombi 3 and 4 (if you don't mind the missing opening scene), Zombie Nosh or The Incredible Melting Man and best of all you can get them cheap. http://www.dvdcompare.net is a good place to find info about censorship and other cuts so you don't accidentally purchase a cut movie.

the zombie flesh eaters 2 dvd aint to bad to be honest despite having the intro missing it does have all the gore stuff intact and it all seams to be from a 35mm print which is better than the US disk that uses video source print to fill in the missing shots so there is a dramatic shift in quality that's one of the advantages of the vipco disk the only downsides are no featers and missing intro but for the cheapo price tag i would rather own the version that is scored intierly from a 35mm print

but i wouldn't mind watching it with the Bruno Matti commentary track that is on the US disk

you will have to forgive the lack of full stops lack of proper spelling im dyslexic but not stupid
