Ok, I don't get this. The movie still has a pretty hefty price tag even though it doesn't look big-budget, and it's been out for a while. The copy I rented a while back didn't have much, if anything, other than the movie. I've gotten much more from the bargain bin at Wal-Mart, so I'm wondering why the price is still so high.

I bought mine last Friday at Dollar General. I thought for $8.00 it was a bit much for a movie that is 22 years old. I cannot believe the price to buy Fright Night II. ! I find that rediculous! I wish that I could find a reasonable fee for that film so that I can watch it.

The cost of DVDs fluctuates, based on the circulation, rights and production run. Low-budget, seldom-run movies often go Out of Print shortly after release which jacks up the price. Rarity is gold. Plus, if a company holds the press rights and won't let anyone else make more discs, or it's so old the company has gone out of business, it becomes really rare. The Sony DVD release of 976-Evil is only $5.57 with Prime shipping at Amazon right now.
