This film didn't even suck. It TANKS.
Horrific acting; lame-ass, SLOW sceneplay, terrible character development....the list goes on and on.
What good came from this? Granted it was iconic Robert Englund's directorial debut - and HE was Freddy Krueger! Oh well, we all make mistakes! Good thing he stuck back to acting.
Yes there is a sequel to this film and the actor who played Spike reprises his role in the sequel. He is the only original actor from the first film. The sequel went directly to video. The sequel was shown a lot on USA UP ALL NIGHT back in the day. I just thought that I would let you know about that.

shareYes the movie was good but I liked the sequel though to be honest with you. It has been years since I have seen the sequel to this movie. It would have been better if they some how brought Hoax back in the sequel. Never know they could do a third one to the franchise and have a few of the original actors in the film. That would be cool to see. Robert Picardo could redo his role in the film. I would not complain about that at all.
