Anyone see this movie?

A few of the reviews, as comments which you cannot respond to kind
of bugged me. One talked about the "aging playboy's mysogeny".

I don't get it? Yes, he was a playboy, but he was not that old,
I have seen older. Just because he is tempted, but does not connect
with a 14 year old ... hardly surprising means that he is a
mysogynist?

I am so bored with posts like this that if you express anything save
full-on support for gays, women, minorities, whatever specific group
being discussed you are dismissed as a "?" whatever-hater.

This girl was a pain in the neck to everyone in her life. Reviews
have expressed this as something noble ... perhaps it is in that it
may lead her to an interesting personhood in some future when she
becomes a full human being, but she is just a bundle of neuroses as
far as I could see.

She was cast perfectly though, in the sense that she was physically
very feminine and mature and sexual, yet not so alluring that we forget
for a second how dreadful she is for anyone trying to interact with her.

I would think that the classic conflict here would be that she wants to
be intimate or loved by someone for who she is, not for her body, or her
obedience, yet she is just out of control.

Perhaps this is just her sexual drive taking her like a moth to a flame
to the moment of her deflowering, and then what does she do, she insults
and abuses the boy.

Maybe I just do not get it, but she was pretty damn awful in my opinion,
so what was the point of the movie? I know, it must be hating women of course.
