Watched this movie last night on Reels Network, and never did find out...is there ever a reference to Ralph's dad? I mean, was Mrs. Karr a widow/divorced, or what? Apologies if this was covered in the boards, but scoured the topics and never saw anything about this. Tks.

Towards the end, when Beth is talking to Scott, she says something along the lines of, "I know what it feels to lose a loved one. My father died when I was twelve."
