Moon Landing

I vividly recall going outside after the module had landed and looking up at a completely full moon, not half full as it was shown here. Surely someone here can confirm this. As it is, this completely destroys and credibility this film had.

Pretty sure the obvious '80s hairstyles on some of the extras already dented the film's credibility a bit.

July 21st 1969 the moon was just past the first quarter phase so it would have been a bit more than half illuminated. The full moon was on the 28th of July.

That's incorrect. They specifically landed just after lunar dawn at the Sea of Tranquility so it would not be scorchingly hot. If they landed there during a full moon, it would be 250 degrees F. Lunar dawn means it was a quarter phase.

Sorry, but you're memory is a bit off, so the credibility of this movie is intact.

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

This reminds me of the old joke about the blonde who married an astrophysicist who worked at NASA. The blonde asks her husband, "Honey, why don't we ever send satellites to the sun?" Her husband looks at her, shakes his head wearily and replies, "Well dear, the satellite would just burn up." The blonde looks at him like she has a great idea and then says, "Well how about if we sent it at night?"
