In this film the teacher turns back into a teenager just to be with her student. isn´t great or what? that´s why i believe this is the best and most underated movie ever done.

shareThis is the ending that most people mistake for the 'original' ending to Big, released theatrically that same year, along with the similarly-themed 18 Again!, Vice Versa, and Like Father, Like Son. (WTF was going on a the time that saw all these same movies coming out, simultaneously?) I even read a trivia book (Uncle John's Bathroom Reader) that included this misinformation as a fascinating tidbit. It went that Big was originally intended to end with Susan going to the Zoltar fortune-teller machine and wishing herself to be small again. She's transformed and enrolls in Josh's school, and it's implied that they became high school sweethearts. Supposedly, it was cut and replaced, because test audiences found it icky. But no such thing happened, because there was no such ending. Still, ignorant people continue to believe otherwise...
