Haven't seen this since I was a kid and was thinking of watching the series again. Before I invest anytime into it, do they wrap up the story at the end or do they leave it as an unfinished story at the end of season 2?

It's been so long since I've seen this, I really can't remember how they ended it. I'm not sure there was a finale.
