not as good as DEFENCE OF THE REALM OR EDGE OF DARKNESS

The book this is based on was an amusing left wing fantasy published several years before this tv version was made.

As one of the "ENEMY WITHIN" I enjoyed the book and was a bit disappointed with the tv version.

The best thing about it is KEITH ALLEN and RAY McNALLY.

I am not saying it is bad,it is not but it is oddly made,annoying music and an uninteresting visual style.

But the feel of the Labour party at the time is well captured but the idea that there would be a Tory party run by people who want to Eton seemed like lefty slur in 1988.

If you want to see this sort of thing I think DEFENCE OF THE REALM and EDGE OF DARKNESS are much better productions.
