Why was Roseanne against Jackie calling Gary in "Trick Me Up, Trick Me Down"?

Jackie is telling Roseanne she called some of her old boyfriends and she said she called Gary, and Roseanne responded like "Ugh oh god!" and Jackie says "But i hung up" and Roseanne goes "Oh cool". Wasn't Roseanne all for Gary being with Jackie? She lectured Jackie when she broke up with him and desperately wanted her to get back with him, she thought he was the perfect guy for her.

Which is why i don't get why she was against Jackie calling him in that episode, i figured she'd be ecstatic and tell her to call him back.
