Crystal was really awkward and nervous

I could never tell if it was just bad acting or the character was supposed to be that way, some of her lines like when she told Dan and Roseanne about her and Ed's relationship, the way she said "Maybe i should leave you guys alone, this a "family moment" the delivery was awful.

And she came off really awkward when talking to men, like when Jackie and Roseanne took her out to have a good time to forget about her dead husband, a guy came up asking her to dance and she said "I'm with my friends, maybe...some other..time".

I just don't get why any guy would want her, shes very homely, not attractive, and is the most awkwardly nervous woman i've ever seen. Like at her bachelorette party her mannerisms and delivery of "Roseanne and Jackie! blabbermouth!" just looked goofy.

As i said i could never tell if it was just bad acting and delivery or if the character was supposed to be that way.

That was the way she was supposed to be.

I think she just didn't have any confidence in herself and it made her seem needy and awkward. I guess her first husband cheated on her and then she married Ed who was basically gone most of the time so this probably made her feel like she wasn't wanted.
