David referring to Roseanne

I like how the trivia said he never referred to her as Roseanne. The only issue is funny is that the title of the series is Roseanne so that might make sense since he knows her first name but otherwise he could refer to her as your wife or Mrs Conner to Dan or your mom or your mother to her children, or he might say my girlfriend's mom to somebody who she doesn't know. Also, intersting is that Dan and Roseanne called their inlaws by their first names but David who is a different generation calls them Mr and Mrs Conner.Mark also called Roseanne Mrs Conner but usually he called Dan Dan since he worked for him. But I would think the younger kids would be less formal rather than the other way around.

I also read that Mark only ever called her Roseanne one time in the whole series.

I think in the episode Rear Window he came home drunk on New Years and said,"I'm not drunk Roseanne and he said that the first time he called her that. I am shocked that as rebellious as he was he would have just said Roseanne from the beginning.

Yes, that was the time. And of course later on he started referring to Dan by his first name, but continued to call Roseanne Mrs Conner.

That was strange

David was scared and showing respect to roseanne. She was the one who took care of him and helped him get out of an abusive home.
