Odd bit of writing they didn't capitalize on.

So the new special has the scene where we talk about turning Cat into a woman and Lister not finding the idea attractive. It goes on for a few minutes and is funny. But it in the context of the episode of cat people finally showing up in the show, it's clearly a setup, but totally ignored. Lister is finally around some live action females, devout followers no less, and they don't mine the comedy potential here in the least. I don't get it.
