The Patient. The look on Howie's face after Ramona barfs is hysterical. Also Mystery Meal is funny too when Ramona and Beezus have to make dinner.

I liked the one where she wanted to run away from home so her Mum helped her pack. She packed sooo much stuff she could not carry the case. I also have a vague memory of her dying her hair or was it her skin I can't remember.

I remember the bluing episode and in the book, but I always wondered what bluing is for? Was it supposed to be for laundry? Why would you want all your clothes blue?
shareGood question! Mine is also The Patient. Mainly because something VERY similar happened to me when I was 10! Only I wasn't in front of my entire class when it happened.
I love Ramona's Bad Day as well. I felt so bad for her! I remember when I first watched it (when I was about 8), I cried when she dreamt that her parents were leaving her.
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
There were so many great moments in this series. In "Bad Day" the dream sequence of Ramona's parents splitting up was both comical and touching. There's some great juxtoposition with Lynda Mason Green and Barry Flatman playing it wonderfully over-the-top as Ramona and Beezus look on in sadness. It really showed how little things get blown up in the minds of children.
I also really enjoyed "The Great Hair Argument," as it goes into Beezus' character a little more. It also has one of the best lines in the series:
RAMONA: Why is Beezus so upset?
DORY: Because, honey, she's an 11-year-old girl with 80-year-old hair!
There's so many great moments that it's hard to pick a favorite. "Goodbye, Hello" is also very touching when Beezus and Ramona have to stop quarrelling when they find Picky-Picky (the cat) has died. Their "funeral" service is really moving.
Anything with 'Yard Ape' was the bomb. That kid killed me! Like in 'The Great Hair Argument' when Ramona dreamed she was Repunzel and cut her hair while yard ape was climbing up. Then she sassed him. Or when he asked her for her dessert and she said they were for her dancers so he did gooney dance. But my all-time favorite moment was in 'Siblingitus' when they went to see the new baby at the hospital but wouldn't let Ramona in cause kids under 11 have germs. So she sat in the waiting and started freaking out thinking she was covered in germs and the old dude next to her got weirded out and left. Then her dad bought her ice cream.
shareI was very young when this show was aired, but I particularly remember the episode where Ramona and her family are supposed to go to the fair, but can't due to rain. Everyone is PO'd. HaHa. Good show.
shareThe one where Ramona wears her PJs to school and gets really hot and has to go to the nurse. She tells the nurse not to tell her parents and for some reason later that night the nurse calls for some other reason (can't remember what) and Ramona was like "She promised she wouldn't say anything!!!!" and her parents had no idea what she was talking about, haha
