Our library owns these on VHS and we are always getting asked about getting them on DVD. I hope they do get released in that format. The new movie looks cute, but this series had many episodes and follows the books more that the movie will.

I'd say if the film is a great success, whatever company owns the "Ramona" series now will see a chance to make some cash and we'll get a DVD release. Sarah Polley was excellent as Ramona, and the entire cast was perfection. The series is very deserving of a DVD release.
shareI was thinking the same thing. I taped the shows when they were on the Disney Channel years ago, but the quality is pretty crummy because I used the slower speed!
Actually the movie is better than what I'd expected from the crazy trailer! The tv show is more believable, though, and has a better cast. I would think the company would consider releasing them in some way. We can only hope!
