Smashing hard-boiled eggs on your head

I remember seeing this episode when I was about 3.
Does anyone remember it, and why would anyone want to do that?

reply

It was all about peer pressure. Marsha had the right idea by "tapping", while Ramona "double hand smashed". Dumb kid. She'd probably smash a glass bottle against her head if "the kids" told her to.

And the episode was called "Squeakerfoot" just so you know.

I thought it sounded like fun when I was about seven.

I remember that in the book! I had to read it...I dunno...ages ago in third grade. I'm in eleventh grade. It was eight years ago. I have a good memory :)

I love waking up in the morning and not knowing what will happen- Titanic

I love Jesus and God!

they did it to look cool, like they'd bring hard boiled eggs to school for lunch, and then to crack the shell, they'd smash it against their forehead instead of somewhere normal, like the table...but then Ramona accidentally brought eggs that weren't cooked.

I thought that was the weirdest fad anyone could've come up with.

Those sort of random antics were what made Ramona so unique and appealing. I love a child's mind written (and played out) so well. :)

What was the child actor's name who did

"a double-whack! Drum roll.
{The kids at the table start drumming their hands on the table}

One...two...three...Whack-whack!"

Eight divided by one-half equals four squared!
