Remember this show on PBS?

I used to watch it every Sunday I guess at 9am or so. I remember one eppie the cat died. Another she stained her hands blue and one where the teacher said "can't" wasn't a word. Ramona thought, "It has to be one. The teacher said it!"

ETA: Oh and one where she fantasies that some guy is in a crane singing, "Ramona! Ramona! I love you, I love you!" :O

...And when she cracks the egg on her head?

My local public library owns so many of these gems! I was astonished to watch them years later only to find that Sarah Polley played Ramona.

Hi! They are selling the vhs on Amazon and ebay! I may buy some. I know! Now she is all grown up and has made a ton of movies!

I didn't remember it coming on PBS but I know I saw some episodes. I just figured I saw it at school or somewhere. Man I wish they would air some old PBS shows or release them. It would be more realistic though that they would air them. PBS has 2 stations after all.

I watched the show with my daughter 20 years ago, we loved it and it helped spark her interest in reading. The public library used to have all the VHS episodes but they wore out from being played so much. Now several episodes are on YouTube and I love watching them again. Wish it would come out on DVD's.

I remember this show so well and it's amazing that this is the same girl I am seeing now in so many movies. I remember so well the episode where she was cooking and she used yogurt to dip the chicken in. I loved this show ! Good for you Sarah Polley !

Am I missing something? I have NEVER heard of "Eppie" the cat. The only cat I remember n the series is "Picky Picky".

Is your tagline from the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre or the new one?
I watched the original, & I thought there was WAAYYY too much screaming for what little action there was.

The old one! Always made me laugh. Yes, that was one screamfest movie. Grandpa scared me though lol

The episode I had on tape was the one where she wore her pajamas to school.

Although, her sister was such a witch laughing at her for that..siblings!

I wish they'd put the series on DVD.
