Agatha Christie

The more episodes I see of Poirot the more I realize what an incredible writer Agatha Christie was! Unbelievable. Many episodes are so complicated I have to watch them twice, or do a wiki!

she was an amazing writer. Though some of the episodes, particularly some of the later ones, take a lot of liberties with her stories.

I agree. I am not enjoying these later episodes as much as I enjoyed ones with Hastings and all.

Yes, they got very dark and serious. No humor like the first few seasons.

She was also a surfing pioneer. She was one of the first British women to master
stand-up surfing. While the other women in England were paddling around at the edge of the ocean, she was ridin' some tasty waves.

I'm not crying, you fool, I'm laughing!

I agree! The plots are generally very clever. Poirot is by far my favourite character, though. I find Miss Marple irritating. I love the production values of the series, it is faultless, IMO.
