Ending question - Phillip (Spoilers)

What ever happened to him? We saw him get a 1-day (and possibly more) extension on his resignation and say he was gonna go deal with 4-fingers the 'Chinese way,' and then, unless I missed something, we never hear from him again. Unless he somehow started the landslide, which seems unlikely, I must've missed where they tied this up...or did they just forget about that aspect?

I was wondering the same thing myself. Four Fingers Choy was killed in the landslide, so he was taken care of, but I also could not find any mention in the book of what became of Philip.
