Rik is such a fantastic actor! He is so versatile, it is untrue! I think he is one of the all time greats!?!

shareOh, Rik's a fantastic actor! I think he's very underrated as a straight actor too. Most people (rightly) think of him as a comedian first, but he's equally fab when he plays it straight. I don't think anyone could have played any of his characters as well as he does.

Same here! I thought 'All About George' was really nice comedy drama, and Rik was so sweet as George!

How can people think 'All About George' isn't a comedy. Admitedly its pretty dry, but its still humorous. And Rik Mayall does a great job in it.
shareIt's a comedy drama, it's a different genre to shows like The Young Ones, Bottom, and The New Statesman which are sitcoms and so it's pacing and style is bound to feel different.
