Proof the Netflix era had begun to go "woke"...

#MakeMoreMST3K is "trending" now and I hope you guys don't claim I'm somehow "anti-fan" for OPPOSING more MST3K being created in THIS current SJW-infested climate, because nobody loves classic MST3K (seasons 1-10) more than me.

I refused to watch the Netflix revival (seasons 11-12, 2017-2018) because I was convinced the people involved in the revival would turn the franchise into a woke piece of crap.

Those who watched the revival (I didn't!) said my fears were unfounded, and there was nothing "woke" about the revival, the only problem with the new version was it was simply boring.

Having researched what went into the revival, I have to beg to differ! I found out, for example, that the female robot character of Gypsy was renamed "G.P.C." for the Netflix era, and apparently we are not even supposed to MENTION the original "Gypsy" name that had been in use since 1988, because it was somehow "offensive to Romani people", so another classic character has gone down the memory hole and the original name has been erased from pop culture to make way for political correctness. Shades of "only black people should voice black cartoon characters", and "the problem with Abu" on The Simpsons. I suppose now we will have to start referring to Gyspy Rose Lee as "G.P.C. Rose Lee" next, assuming the Broadway musical is even ALLOWED in today's hyper sensitive cancel culture. And I sure hope they cancel culture crowd doesn't get their hands on the FILM "King of the Gypsies", giventhat unlike the previous two examples, the characters are ACTUAL Gypsies.

I'm all for "Making More MST3K". I am certainly NOT in favor of making a bastardized, virtue-signaling, pale-imitation of it, though. So until
we can get REAL MST3K, you can put me down as #DONTmakemoreMST3K
