The Time Travelers
This one was pretty good, I think because the film lent itself well to the format.
Danny in particular (who turns up again in Avalanche).
So was Starcrash. Great riffs, and seemed to be the turning pointe for the show.

I think a big part of why the new season is working so well is the movie choice. From the ones ive seen so far, they're very easily watchable, in color, and most importantly theyre hilarious to watch and make fun of all on your own. There's quite a few eps of past seasons where those movies most def are not "so bad theyre good/funny", where theyre just downright brutally painful to watch and one would never be caught dead sitting thru it on their own or even to make fun of with a likeminded friend. The brilliant folks behind MST3k still made itw ork of course, but it's a far cry from something like Cry Wilderness.
It just makes it so much easier for them to rattle off great jokes and for viewers to sit thru the tripe.
The movies are pretty bad. But then again, Avalanche wasn't such a bad film. However, they could've done a better job riffing the actors. Come on, you had Rock Hudson, Mia Farrow and Robert Forrester. What a classic crop of actors to rip apart. They dropped the ball on this film big time.
Most of the riffs seemed force.
