so I have never lived in Canada but I watched this show in the U.S.A back in 1988... (he was my first crush) I have even seen him and his wife at my favorite Indian restaurant so I know he is real and I know I watched the show anyone know when it was first aired in the U.S.A????

It aired in syndication and began I believe in the Fall of 1988.

88 sounds correct. Trailer park boys never made it into syndication when it was airing, but I've flipped through channels and caught random episodes and the first movie (maybe Comedy Central?!) And yeah, this show rocked. I was 5 in 1988 and just getting into comic books, so it definitely shaped part of my youth.
