Political Correctness

This was an episode that aired in 1993. In this episode, people were complaining that people needed to be more sensitive to the words they used, etc., while Murphy and Scott Backula's character felt that people needed to let things go and stop being so sensitive.

Well, it's now 21 years later (nearly 22 years) and things have gotten WORSE in the PC arena, rather than better. You can scarcely breathe these days without someone accusing someone else of not being PC. It's just pathetic. Yes, obviously there are some words or terms that shouldn't be used, but when you have to watch every little thing you say because someone, somewhere is going to be offended, that's not being PC, that's being censored! Unfortunately, until people re-learn how to have a sense of humor, and stop being offended at EVERYTHING, this is just going to get worse, not better.
