Does anyone know when season 2 will be released on DVD? I just watched season 1 the other day.... wow.
Normally, when you go back and see a pilot of a show you loved you think to yourself, man, I see how the components for greatness were there but just hadn't come together yet... with Murphy Brown they were completely spot on from day 1. Fast-paced, witty, informed dialouge. <sigh>
I need season 2. Why can't a sitcom be this smart and funny anymore?
I completely with you...SO ready for the next season to come out on DVD. I have season 1 and have been watching/recording it off of Nick at Nite. I started watching/recording in season 3 though, so it would be nice to have season 2.
They're still showing it on Nick at Nite if you're interested. Unfortunately they show huge blocks of other shows but Murphy only gets one little half hour block at 3 am.
They're at the end of season 6 right now.
It's so true!!! I was thinking of writing a letter to the Nick @ Nite people about putting Murphy Brown on so late. I thank god I have some kind of satalite that lets me get Murphy Brown at midnight. Nick @ Nite used to show Murphy Brown like three or four times a night when it first started showing on NIck @ Nite but for some reason they changed it. I would never get to see Murphy if it weren't for that satalite. I also own Season one. I was just thinking about Season two. I hope it comes out soon. I can't wait till tonight's episode of Murphy Brown. I cant think of the name but the Previous say's something about Murphy thinking she's pregnant again. I know she isn't because i've seen the last few episode's when Nick @ Nite played that marathon on Murphy Brown when it first joined the lineup. It would of been great for Murphy to marry Peter and have his baby but that's ok because I still LOVE the show.
