New hope for a commercial DVD release?

I'm not sure how long this has been there, however I was just browsing through Amazon today when I came across this:

Now, I'm not really sure how Amazon catalog products exactly, however surely they'd only add a listing to their site if there was actually a product in the works?

I followed your link to Amazon and saw that the format is BluRAy (which requires a special BluRay dvd player to view) and one of those costs $500 U.S. and up to purchase). Anyway the show isn't currently available but if they know the format will be BluRay that has to mean something. Right?

Anyway it's possible to add the show to your wish list and to be emailed when it becomes available, so I signed up for those. Now here's my take. All of us who go over to the site and sign up for the e-mail notification and sign up to have it on our wish list will probably be counted as demand for the product. Enough demand and they will be forced to consider actually putting the show on dvd. Can't hurt to be counted, can it? I'd ask any friends and relatives who are willing to help to do the same thing. Get the momentum rolling.
