Matthew Perry in 'The Dinner Test'

That was my favorite episode. Coach asked him what piece of chicken would he like leg, Thigh or Breast and he so calmly said wing please. I wasn't that old when that episode aired, but even I knew what Coach was talking about.

Addionally, another Friends' star (Matt LeBlanc) appeared in two episodes of the show as well, playing Murphy (aka "Murph"), the school's star quarterback.

I know... I remember when Friends was first aired and my brother and I saw LeBlanc and the first this we said was "hey, it's the guy fro JTTOU!"

Boy, doesn't make sense to say it that way now.

IIRC I still have that episode on tape. I loved the whole scene at the dinner table. "Grant, we don't have enough food, noone's made it this far before..."

I've never forgot that episode, I loved it. The dinner table scene was the greatest. "Breast or leg?" "Wing" AWESOME!

Kind of ironic if you think about it. Mathew Perry played Carol's boyfrind who was killed in a car accident in Growing Pains and then showed up On this show, a spin off of Growing Pains.

NERDS! Why's nobody talking about all the hot daughters??

I know! I remember crying when that episode first aired! I recently saw the rerun and cried again! We actually taped "The Dinner Test" episode, and I watched it all the time! I was so annoyed that she used Matthew Perry bc I thought he was hot! He was really funny, too. It was a very memorable episode.

My favorite scene! I had a crush on Matt Perry from that moment on

If I can recall 7th grade, the definition of irony is the opposite of what is expected.

I also remember this episode fondly (although a bit hazily)! Future star Matthew Perry and uber-gorgeous "Lubbock babe" Brooke Theiss worked very well together! Also, the late Philip Linton was memorable as the "bad boy" Theiss' character was drawn to! Those girls WERE insanely gorgeous! I especially liked the short, somewhat pudgy, hilariously manic Joann Willette-who doesn't sound like much from my description of her, but who truly captured my heart (she was very beautiful!) both THEN and NOW!
