years correct?

If the years for the show's airing and the birth years for the actors are accurate... the girls were all in their 20s playing teens (which isn't especially odd) - EXCEPT that the gap was HUGE.... Connie was 25 years old playing 14? And, watching reruns on Youtube... I don't see her as 25 (14 is much closer to believable). Does anyone know if the years are accurate here? The gaps seem gigantic (not the typical 21 playing 19 that is typical in Hollywood).

Not all of them were in their twenties at the start.

Jo Ann Wilette, as you said, was 25 and Heather Langenkamp was 24. But Brooke Theiss was 19 and Jamie Luner was 17.

Correct me if I am wrong but weren't Theiss' and Luner's characters supposed to be the two oldest kids?

I thought Heather's character was supposed to be the oldest daughter, followed by the twins.
