In the scene where Ben Sloan is about to kidnap the DA's daughter, Becky. He drugs the rag and puts the bottle of chloroform on what clearly sounds like a hard surface. There shouldn't have been anything there. He reached to his left and the nightstand was on his right. It could only have been put on the camera dolly.
