Watching the new season of True Detective and when I saw the police chief, I knew I had seen him somewhere before (actually his voice is what really got me).


Jimmy Dawes I ever tell you I wanted to be a cop?
Gillespie No. a singer.
Jimmy Dawes That, too, but a cop first.
Jimmy Dawes I'd be a lieutenant by now, telling you what to do.
