I just finished watching this two-parter.
Does anyone know if this was supposed to be a backdoor pilot for Stacy Keach? It seems like it would have been, potentially, an interesting character.

My guest is it probably was that two parter was one of my least favorite of the series. I do know that Bubba going to Los Angeles was suppose to be a pilot for a show but at that time NBC stupidity was canceling "Heat" in 1992, and of course there was no series.
