A question i need help with

In how many episodes does freddy kill people? And can you list them all?

reply

Isn't anybody going to help?

reply

It's kind of hard to say, as the original concept of the series was going to be the nightmares of Freddy Krueger himself, starting with the first episode about Freddy being caught as a living man, and trialed, released and killed by parents of Springwood.

But after that the concept changed to just be what it became, and it's not really certain if Freddy DOES kill the people, making them do what they do, or if it's just he might have influenced them to do so, or possibly even had nothing to do with it at all.

On one hand you could say he's the one who kills everyone from this series, but it's debatable.

I haven't seen every episode, but Freddy kills a man in the very first one that recounted his origin. Basically, this show was in the mold of "Tales From the Crypt" and Freddy was the narrator like the Cryptkeeper.

*cough* Hitchcock, Twilght Zone.

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he is God.

I would say all, I mean I think he's obviously creating the nightmares even when he's not there.

I mean in the episodes he's not directly involved in when he gives his comments to the audience he says things like, "What till you see what I'm gonna do to such and such..."

Question your prejudices.

reply

No, it's NOT "kind of hard to say", it's a pretty straight-forward question with a simple answer. There were 8 episodes where Freddy was directly involved with the plot and actually killed people himself:

No More Mr. Nice Guy
Sister's Keeper
Freddy's Tricks And Treats
Safe Sex
Dream Come True
Dreams That Kill
Photo Finish
It's My Party And You'll Die If I Want You To

reply

Yes, as himself. But it's unknown if he has anything to do with the other ones.

reply

He was asking about people that Freddy KILLED, not that Freddy is indirectly, unknowingly or vicariously responsible for the deaths of. It's well-known that Freddy was pulling the strings throughout the entire series, he wouldn't have asked which episodes Freddy killed people in if he just wanted a body count of the entire series

reply

So what is Freddy's kill count in total then, hmmm?

reply

21 people directly killed by Freddy

No More Mr. Nice Guy - Lou(patrol officer keeping watch outside Blocker's house), Prosecutor Michael Deeks(killed off-screen, but slash marks are unmistakable) & Lt. Timothy Blocker

Sister's Keeper - Lisa Blocker

Freddy's Tricks And Treats - Zach

Safe Sex - Dana & Caitlyn

Dream Come True - Gary Heath & Stan Brooks(killed off-screen between end of this episode & start of Dreams That Kill)

Dreams That Kill - Randy Jennings(dies off-screen) & Charlie Nichols(also dies off-screen)

Photo Finish - Kiki(model in coffin), John Johnson & FBI agent Peterson

It's My Party And You'll Die If I Want You To - Harry Lee, Jodie(Pyramid Girl), Mara Rulene, Barry Dean, Denise Charlotte, Cindy(not 100% sure if she actually died or if it was JUST in Larry's dream, but I count it) & Larry Felton

Nice!

Let me try:

The first episode: he kills a cop guarding the Blocker's house (1) He then kills the cop who killed him (2)

The episode where Freddy has his high school reunion: some fat chick (1) He kills the screen writer (2) and he cuts a guy's hand off where I assume he dies (3) and he gasses a bunch of people

My Sister's Keeper episode: He kills one of the twins (1)

Dreams that kill episode: He kills the host (1)

A halloween episode (?) where he kills a few

Those are the ones I remember but there's probably more.
