all I know is that those girls are atrociously bad actresses!

But I'm not complaining, I love the series!

I don't think Lisa planned on getting killed by Freddy, interesting twist though. It seems like an obvious ending, but for some reason--didn't see it coming.I might just be a huge freddy supporter, but I loved this episode. There were things that were cheesey as hell, but some really cool stuff too--like the twins syncing their dreams together, and the highschool setting. No More Mr. Nice Guy,and this episode make a good prequel to the first movie. It could be an actual movie if they wrote it a little better for todays standards.I retract that statement, todays horror standards are Sex and pot and ignoring the actual plot as much as possible.haha.

I was shocked that the pilot episode was so poorly made, seeing as how it was directed by Tobe Hooper.

Poorly made, but still fun to watch.

Because

*Spoilers*

At the end of the dream, Lisa realizes that you can't just wish Freddy away. Then Freddy's arm pops out and, while Merit stands around screaming, Lisa gets pulled into the sofa.

There are two ways to interpret this. She could mean that:

a) Lisa decided to help Merit out with Freddy and, by getting involved, Lisa died trying to help Merit.

b) Remember, in this episode, what happened to one in the dream happened to the other in real life. It is possible that Merit thought that this principle still held true which may be why she didn't grab Lisa as she was being pulled in because she figured that, rather than have both sisters die, Merit would take the RL hit for Lisa's dream death. Only, when Merit woke up, she found that Lisa died in both the dream and in RL.

And, of course, the perennial favorite:

C) Some of the lines in these episodes make no sense and the script writer just put in something to fill out the ending.

This episode was on Zone Horror last night. Very weird. The ending was odd, I have to agree.

"Hey! Ladies! That was fun!"
