for a show that was a top 10 hit for 3 years .... and won an emmy it's a god damn shame and a SHAM that its not on DVD.

So, from a business perspective, why would they bother releasing a DVD?
I agree. I've been trying to collect all of the Golden Girls seasons and this show is a spin off. I was disappointed to see it hasn't been released. I remember this being popular when it aired.
shareIt rarely had been shown in syndication. So, it never had a chance to gain a "new audience" (in the past 25 years).
Now that it finally is being shown in re-runs in syndication, maybe it will indeed gain a new audience. And, hence, a bigger demand for a DVD set.
