So does anyone have the animated show on video either? I understand the dvd was never released, but did anyone happen to tape it? I have most episodes on VHS, but the tape quality is crap now. Picked up some dvds off of ebay about a year ago from a guy who had the whole series taped and converted to dvd. :)

I just did a dvd trade with someone for another series and picked this one up. The eps look like they came from video copies of varying quality - some are quite decent but others are pretty washed-out and a tad skippy. But they're all there! They were thrown pell-mell onto dvds, so I'm rerecording them and arranging them with menus. I'm doing it for myself but I'm always happy to make copies of shows that did *not* make it to dvd (I never copy and distribute official dvds). My usual price for non-trades is 3 dollars per disc, and 2 dollars if you want the case. Usually it's only one dollar for shipping, if its going anywhere in the US anyways. Sparky, thanks so much for sending me the episodes! Haven't seen them in ages, they were way beyond decent, I must say! My 12yo daughter watched them with me, and loved them, too. Quality quite acceptable on the episodes, and cool case artwork, too.
Anyone else out there wants to see these, I would highly recommend working with Sparky on getting your own copies.
You're welcome. ;) I just wish I didn't *have* to make a set. I would about kill to buy a commercially-made set, with some sort of commentary or interview or even just a printed article by Martin Short about the making of the show.

shareI got it years ago on vhs and let someone borrow it!!!!!!!!!!!!! The guy died and who knows - anyway it was a bad copy. Lately Oct., 2011 I found it on ebay again and asked question to seller re: condition... never got back. (that tells me tho) Can't believe so many of us want the 13 episodes no matter how and can not get it ;o/
shareI have a couple of episodes on VHS, but it was recorded on antenna TV and it was about the 30th recording on that tape, so it is extremely poor quality. Watching Martin Short judge "Canada's Got Talent" on TV right now, and it reminded me of this show, looked it up.
